Is the pool heated?
No. The villa has a private outdoor pool of about 25 m². It is unheated, so it is at its most pleasant in the warmer months.
When can we use the pool?
The pool is available throughout your stay, all year round. As it is unheated, most guests enjoy it from late spring to autumn.
Is the pool fenced?
No, the pool is not fenced. Children should always be supervised by an adult when they are in or near the pool.
How far is the beach?
Ialyssos Beach is about 200 metres from the villa — roughly a five-minute walk.
Can noise from the road or airport be heard?
Villa Rhodea sits in a residential part of Ialyssos, close to the beach, shops and restaurants, with convenient access to Rhodes Airport and Rhodes Town. As with many well-connected locations, you may occasionally hear some road or air traffic during the day. Quiet hours in the neighbourhood run from 23:00 to 07:00.
What is the exact bed and bathroom layout?
The villa has five bedrooms with three king-size beds, four single beds and a sofa bed, sleeping up to 10 guests. There are two full bathrooms, each with a walk-in shower, plus a separate guest toilet.
Is the villa suitable for two families?
Yes. Five bedrooms spread across the house, a children's room and a garden and pool with room for everyone make the villa well suited to two families or a multi-generation group of up to 10 guests.
What baby and child equipment is available?
A baby cot, a high chair, a dedicated children's room and beach essentials are all provided.
How do payments, cancellation and damage protection work?
Once we confirm your booking, you pay a 30% deposit through a secure Stripe payment link (iDEAL, Bancontact or card); the balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. The cancellation terms and any security deposit that apply to your stay are confirmed in writing before any payment is due — see the booking terms for details.
Is a direct booking confirmed instantly?
A booking request is not an instant booking. We personally confirm availability by email, normally within 24 hours, and your booking is final once your deposit has been received.
Is there good wifi — can I work from the villa?
Yes. The villa has high-speed Starlink internet throughout and a dedicated workspace.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM. Earlier or later times can sometimes be arranged with our local manager, depending on the day's schedule.
Is it Villa Rhodea or Villa Rhodéa?
Both are the same villa. Our name is Villa Rhodea, matching our web address villarhodea.com, and you may still come across the stylised spelling Rhodéa in older reviews and posts.
