Booking terms

These terms apply to direct bookings of Villa Rhodéa in Ialyssos, Rhodes, made through this website. By sending a booking request you confirm that you have read and accept these terms, the house rules and the privacy policy.

1. How booking works

  • A booking request through this website is not an instant booking. We review every request personally and reply by email, normally within 24 hours.
  • Your booking is confirmed once we have sent you a written confirmation and the deposit has been received.
  • Until then, dates remain available to other guests.

2. Prices and payment

  • The total price for your stay, including any extras you select, is confirmed in writing before any payment is due.
  • We ask for a deposit of 30% of the total price to secure your booking, payable through a secure Stripe payment link (iDEAL, Bancontact and major debit/credit cards).
  • The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. For bookings made closer to arrival, the payment schedule is agreed with you in the booking confirmation.
  • Card and bank details are handled entirely by Stripe; they never pass through this website.

3. Cancellation

The cancellation terms that apply to your stay are stated in your written booking confirmation, before any payment is due. If you need to change or cancel a confirmed booking, contact us as early as possible and we will look at the options together.

4. Your stay

  • The villa sleeps a maximum of 10 guests; the party size in your booking is binding.
  • Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out before 10:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed.
  • The house rules form part of these terms.

5. Damage and liability

  • Guests are liable for loss or damage caused during their stay, beyond normal wear and tear. Please report damage promptly.
  • If a security deposit applies to your booking, the amount and how it is handled are stated in your booking confirmation.
  • Use of the villa, garden and unfenced pool is at your own responsibility; children must be supervised by an adult at all times in and around the pool.
