Close to everything, away from the noise
Villa Rhodéa sits on a calm residential street in Ialyssos, on the green northwest coast of Rhodes. You can walk to the bakery in the morning and still feel a world away from the busier resorts.
Rhodes has been part of our family for a long time — Christiaan's father was born on the island, and over the years it has become a second home. Villa Rhodéa grew out of that connection, in a spot we know well.

Soft mornings
Kalí kaliméra.Breakfast is unhurried here. An easy beachfront table, or coffee with a view worth the early start.
Long lunches
Kalí órexi.Lunch on Rhodes is rarely quick. A fast Greek bite in the village, or a table where the afternoon simply disappears.
Slow dinners
Stin yiá mas.Long tables and candlelight. A warm welcome down the road, or a hidden favourite in the Old Town.

Kallithea Springs
A restored 1920s spa of domed rotundas around a small cove — a place close to our hearts. Lovely for a swim, or a slow walk in the evening light.
Anthony Quinn Bay
Crystal-clear water and a tiny beach tucked into the rocks. Beautiful early, before it fills up. Mind the steep steps down with smaller children.
Rhodes Old Town
One of Europe's best-preserved medieval towns — walled, cobbled, easy to get lost in. The lanes are at their best as the light softens.
Monolithos Castle
Rhodes at its most rugged, out on the southwest coast. Go late in the day, when the light turns golden over the sea.
Easy days for families
A few places that tend to be a real hit with younger guests.
Tsampika Beach
One of the best sandy beaches on the island, with shallow water far out. Easy and relaxed for younger children.
Faliraki Water Park
One of the biggest in Greece, with slides, a lazy river and gentler zones for little ones. Well organised, something for most ages.
Farma
Not a big zoo, and that's the charm. Children can wander, feed and pet the animals at an easy, relaxed pace.
